The Duke and Duchess of Devonshire welcomed tens of thousands of fun–seekers to Chatsworth House.

Once again Chatsworth Country Fair wowed crowds with a whole host of delightful attractions. From Red Arrows displays to hot air balloons, sheep dog trials, classic cars, military bands and tasty treats, the jam–packed extravaganza boasted something for everyone.

The Duke of Devonshire said: “It’s a tremendous event and it’s such a pleasure to welcome all these people. It’s been a wonderful year for Chatsworth House and this much-loved show really is the icing on the cake.”

Organiser Christopher Lloyd Owen said he was already busy planning next year’s fair.
