Funding boost

HIGH Peak Borough Council has secured more than £150,000 of Government funding to help householders make their homes more energy efficient and cheaper to heat.

The authority is among 14 district and borough councils to benefit from the Government funding.

It will help the council target and support households in fuel poverty through practical measures such as loft and cavity wall insulation.
