Treetops Nursery Belper

Treetops Nursery Belper

A nursery is doing its bit for the environment as part of a new green campaign.

Treetops Nursery, in Chesterfield Road, Matlock, is taking part in the ‘Go Green Campaign’, in which it will need to overcome a series of eco–friendly challenges.

Activities include creating recycling points for parents, growing their own vegetables which the children enjoy cooking and eating and Treetops have also signed up to a ‘bike to work’ scheme for their staff.

Sarah Knowles, deputy manager at Treetops, said: “The staff have all been trying really hard lately walking to work and car sharing to help the environment, and most of the children live locally so we have been encouraging working to nursery.”
