Hathersage New Year swim cancelled

The New Years day swim at Hathersage Swimming Pool has been cancelled.

The cold water swim was due to take place at the pool tomorrow but has been called off due to technical problems.

A spokesman said: “We hope to re-schedule the event for early spring.

“Apologies for any inconvenience and disappointment caused.”
