Have your say on Bakewell park plans

Bakewell children and parents can meet with planning chiefs to have their say on plans for a new play park in the town.

Derbyshire Dales District Council will hold two consultation days to help it decide on the style and design of the new play equipment to be installed at Bakewell Recreation Ground.

Residents of all ages will be able to mark their favourite pieces and this will be used for the basis for the new design.

The consultation will be held at the recreation ground pavilion on Tuesday and Thursday, between 10am and 4pm.

Cllr Andrew Lewer, community and environment committee chairman, said: "These play facilities have been keenly awaited and I hope as many children and parents as possible will come and share their views with us and help put the finishing touches to the schemes."
