Between Sunday, January 20 and Monday, January 21, a stone cutting saw was stolen from lockable bow on back of pick-up truck parked on Farley Hill, Matlock. The value of the saw is £650. Crime reference number: 3112/13
On the afternoon of Tuesday, January 22, a man attempted to steal a power saw from a residential garage on Farely Hill, Matlock.
The man was disturbed by the occupant, who was working in another part of the building, and the thief quickly left the scene without stealing anything.
The man is described as white, aged between 18 and 25, of medium build and wearing a light coloured waist length coat. Crime reference number: 3019/13.
