High Peak urged to think before calling 999

Fire Engine on call

Fire Engine on call

Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service is once again urging High Peak not to make unnecessary 999 calls, particularly during industrial action today (Thursday) from 10am to 5pm.

A spokesman said: “A non-emergency call could be to someone who is locked outside their house or someone who is stuck in a lift. There are other agencies and organisations that can help in this instance.”
