Joyriders strike

Police are appealing for information after joyriders stole a car and then set it on fire.

A silver Audi TT was stolen from outside a house on Park Avenue, Darley Dale, sometime after 5.30pm on Saturday, October 13.

Just after 8.30pm that night the fire service was called to Lumsdale Road, Matlock where the stolen car had been dumped and set alight.

Officers would like to speak to anyone with information about the theft or the fire.
