Learn a new skill

A workshop will allow people to discover the natural beauty of living willow sculpture.

Derbyshire Wildlife Trust will be hosting the event on Sunday March 3.

Those who take part will be able to learn how to manipulate willow to help make a living dome for visitors to Carsington Water that will change through the seasons and attract wildlife. They will then make an arch or tripod to take home.

The workshop takes place at the Trust’s Wildlife Discovery Room at Severn Trent Carsington Water. It runs from 10.30am to 4pm and costs £40 per person.

Booking is essential as places are limited. To find out more and to book contact Derbyshire Wildlife Trust on 01773 881188 or visit www.derbyshirewildlifetrust.org.uk
