Let them eat cake
Ballerinas, ladybirds, bears and Quality Street sweets adorned the tables of Godfrey's Coffee Shop in a cupcake competition this week.
The competition was held to celebrate manager Greg Broadbent's two-year anniversary at the Town Street cafe.
Two categories, an under 16s, and an adult category, were won by Christine Treanor and her daughter.
They walked away with 25 and a meal for two.
Greg said: "Cupcakes are very fashionable at the moment, and they're fun. All the family can get involved, and it gives the kids something to do in the Easter holidays.
"We'll definitely do it again next year."
