New lighting has been installed at a park in Carr Vale.

The lighting at the park, off Chapel Road and Villas Road, has been put in to encourage more youngsters to use the facility.

PC Pete Harley, of Derbyshire police, said: “We saw a drop in calls about nuisance behaviour when the lights were first installed and we hope that there will continue to be a positive impact for the community during winter.”
