Long Hill road to close temporarily
Motorists are being advised that a two mile section of the Long Hill road between Buxton and Whaley Bridge will be closed temporarily this month for repair works.
The A5004 will be closed from its junction with Park Road in Buxton up to the White Hall Outdoor Activity Centre between 11 and 15 February.
A diversion will be in place with motorists being advised to follow the A6 towards Buxton then follow Bridge Street, Station Road and back to the A5004.
They will be asked to use the same A6 route travelling in the opposite direction.
The road will re-open as soon as work is finished which may result in it being closed less than the estimated five days.
Derbyshire County Council has apologised for any inconvenience caused while the work is taking place.
