editorial image

Scores of school pupils enjoyed a trip to the continent to brush up on their language skills.

Forty students from years seven and eight of Highfields School, Matlock, took part in the ‘Europa Trip’, which was a combined French and German language trip to the Alsace and Black Forest regions of France and Germany.

Teacher Maria Bowen said: “The students were a credit to the school.”
