Matlock school kids enjoy summer

Youngsters at a school will be getting out and about in the coming weeks to make the most of summer.

Castle View Primary School, in School Road, Matlock, will hold its summer fair on Saturday, between 11am and 2pm.

On Tuesday, July 8, the children will enjoy a party in the park.

Between 10am and 3pm the whole school will venture down to Hall Leys Park to enjoy boat rides, train rides and ice creams.

On July 16, in commemoration of World War One the school will hold a peace party which will include a street party for the children at lunch time.

On July 19 the children will be enjoying Matlock Festival by holding a mini sports day and tombola.
