Moggy rescued
A fire crew spent almost two hours trying to rescue a stranded kitty from a perilous cliff ledge.
The crew from Matlock were called to The Dale, in Stoney Middleton, at 10.15am on Monday.
The cat was balanced precariously on ledge of a rock face 20 feet above the ground as the firefighters searched for a way of getting the terrified moggy down.
The cat was eventually rescued at 11.58am and the crew left the scene at 12.11pm.
