A stage version of the powerful West End hit Blood Brothers is coming to New Mills - and you could play a starring role.

New Mills Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society will be staging the play at The Art Theatre from November 11 to 15.

Written by Willy Russell, it tells the story of twin brothers, separated at birth. Their contrasting upbringing and the hand fate deals them provides a fast-moving, perceptive and ultimately tragic ending.

Rehearsals will commence on September 30 and take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for six weeks. A casting read-through will be held on Thursday August 21 at the Jodrell Street theatre.
