Police officers put the brakes on motoring offences

Police booked over 40 drivers for offences including not wearing a seatbelt and using a mobile phone at the wheel, during a recent road safety campaign.

On Friday, officers from Matlock, Matlock Bath and Wirksworth caught 36 drivers not wearing seatbelts, three using mobile phones and one committing numberplate crime.
