Protect property at marking events

Police are inviting Hope Valley residents to take steps to protect their property.

Residents across Edale, Castleton, Hope and Bamford can attend a series of events to mark up items such as bikes, laptops and phones.

Officers will be visiting Edale main car park between 10am and 12pm and Castleton main car park between 12.30pm and 2.30pm on Thursday, January 2.

The following day the team will be attending Bamford Anglers car park between 10am and 12pm before heading to Hope main car park between 12.30pm and 2.30pm.

If you cannot attend the events but would like security advice call Derbyshire police on 101.
