Recruitment opened for Dales police volunteers

Police in the High Peak and Derbyshire Dales are looking for volunteers to help support their Safer Neighbourhood policing teams.

Recruitment has already begun and people with spare time on their hands have until the end of the month to get their application forms to the police.

Volunteers will be asked spare a few hours a week to take messages, arrange meetings, take minutes, update computer records and perform other administrative work. Others will help by distributing leaflets, putting up posters, or doing practical or manual tasks.

Application forms available at the Derbyshire police website.
