Search for the county’s finest food and drink
FOOD and drink businesses are being urged to put their skills to the test by entering a prestigious county-wide competition.
Businesses have until October 26 to get their entries in for the eleventh annual Derbyshire Food and Drink Awards.
This year there are 12 categories including four new ones for Best Family Friendly Venue, Local Producer of the Year, Best Healthy Eating Venue, and Best Newcomer 2012.
Councillor Kevin Parkinson, Derbyshire County Council Cabinet Member for Regeneration, said: “The range and choice of local produce available throughout the county on the menus of pubs, restaurants and coffee houses is amazing.”
