A musical teenager has been given a once in a lifetime opportunity to showcase her talents at a national level.

Emily Beswick, 16, of Buxton, has gained entry in to the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain (NYO).

The viola player attends Lady Manners School, in Bakewell.
