Teenager head-butted in Buxton street attack

Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenager was head-butted as he walked along a street in Buxton.

The 15-year-old boy was on Charles Street, walking under what is locally known as ‘Aldi Bridge’, when he was assaulted by the man, requiring hospital treatment for a suspected broken nose.

The incident took place between 8.15am and 8.40am on Thursday May 1.

Police say the suspect, described as being of a scruffy appearance, was white, wearing white trainers with black laces and black tracksuit bottoms with stripes down the side.
