Tools stolen in Wirkworth burglary

Power tools and fuel were taken when thieves ransacked a farm storage room.

The burglary took place at a property in St Helen’s Lane, Wirksworth, between 7pm on Thursday, October 11 and 8am, Friday.

The crooks forced entry into the storage room and helped themselves to a power saw and generator, as well as a quantity of diesel.

Police have asked that anyone with information contact them on 101.
