ORGANISERS of Y Not festival are celebrating after scooping the Best Small Festival accolade at a recent award ceremony.

On Monday, December 3, the Y Not team headed to London for the UK Festival Awards and stormed to success in the Best Small Festival category.

Y Not organiser Ralph Broadbent said: “We’re delighted to have picked up this award. It adds to our collection from last year of best grassroots and best toilets – firmly placing Y Not as a force in the festival world.

“But really it’s thanks to all the Y Not crowd – from the festival goers to our suppliers to the bands. But now we need to make sure 2013 is even better.”

Tickets for next year’s festival are on sale from February 5, 2013, onwards.
