Tour in Peak

TOP cyclists will whoosh through a corner of the Peak District National Park as part of the Tour de France in 2014.

The Dark Peak’s dramatic moorland scenery will greet the cyclists on July 6 as they compete on day two of the event from York to Sheffield.

They will enter the national park at Holme village, passing over Holme Moss then swoop down the Woodhead pass.
