Woman has lip bitten in Buxton pub assault

A woman sustained a bite to her lip during an assault in a Buxton pub.

The 54-year-old victim was taken to hospital and needed 12 stitches to a wound on her bottom lip, following the incident at the Eagle Hotel on Sunday.

Police say it followed an altercation at the Eagle Parade premises.

Witnesses are asked to contact PC Johnathan Terry at Buxton police station on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
