Six supermarket workers are swapping the aisles for the mountains when they tackle a fund–raising challenge.

Phil Greaves, Rob Garrett, Sean Sewell, Joe Holland, Jamie Uphill and Joel Chamberlain all work for Sainsbury’s in Matlock and are set to climb Mount Snowdon tomorrow.

Using collection buckets in store, the team have so fair managed to raise £350 for Bakewell–based charity Helen’s Trust, however their target is £500.

Anything they raise will be matched by the store, therefore the brave mountaineers are hoping to be able to give £1,000 to the charity.

Rob, team leader in the store, said: “We like to get involved with charity as much as possible.”
