Man pronounced dead in Chesterfield after paramedics and mountain rescue team called to incident

The Derby Mountain Rescue Team (DMRT) were called to assist the East Midlands Ambulance Service today, after reports that a male had suffered cardiac arrest in woodland near a golf course in Chesterfield.
A DMRT spokesperson said: “Due to the location of the casualty the team were requested in order to assist with a rapid evacuation. Sadly, despite the efforts of all involved, he was unable to be resuscitated on scene and the team were stood down.
“Our thoughts are with the gentleman's family and friends at this difficult time.”
