Several vehicles have crashed on the M1 causing disruptions and fuel spillage.

A 9am today one lane out of four on the M1 is still closed after the crash on the southbound carriageway between J29 and J28.

Highways Traffic Officers were on the scene with specialist clean up crew for spillage of fuel on the carriageway.
