Oscars come to Buxton
THE GLITZ and glamour of the Oscars is coming to Buxton next month.
Pauline Maund and the staff at Cut N Curl are hosting their fifth charity ball in March and this year’s theme is a Night at the Oscars.
Being held at the Palace Hotel, the event, on Saturday March 23, will raise money for Blythe House Hospice and Women v Cancer.
Local band Purple Cloud of Funk are set to perform and there will also be a disco. The evening begins at 7.45pm with a Bucks Fizz reception.
