Golf club name 2013 captain

Matlock Golf Club celebrated Bob Whyld’s year of captaincy and the presentation of the captain’s blazer to Ian Marr for 2013.

In front of a crowded first tee, Aberdonian Ian Marr then carried out the traditional drive off. The winning landing point being won by Club Chairman Peter Beardsley.

In the car parking draw Denise Morley was the winner. Prior to New Year’s Eve the vice captain’s team beat the captain’s team 6.5 to 5.5.
