Ivanhoe bag first victory

A first league win of the season for Wirksworth Ivanhoe as they triumphed 6-4 at Stanton Ilkeston. Ben Marsh (3) Jack Higton (2) and Callum Worth scoring the goals before they hung on to pick up the three sports.

Matlock Sports turned in one of their best displays of the season before a deflected goal which contained a hint of offside and a 93rd minute strike condemned them to a 2-0 Challenge Cup defeat at Allenton Utd.

Cromford went down 2-1 at home to Newhall United in Premier Division action.Alex Staham scoring for Cromford.

To compound a disappointing day for Derbyshire Dales teams-Wirksworth Ivanhoe excepted-Rowsley 86 Reserves lost 3-2 at home to Little Eaton.
