Students do club proud
Jesters MMA members,.
Jesters Mixed Martial Arts Club in Matlock had its quarterly grading day last Saturday.
A total oF 17 of its 28 students were grading for their belts, ranging from first timers going for their white belt all the way up to two of the club’s older, long standing students grading for their brown belt and brown black tag.
Head coach Mark Ball said: ““These students have shown fantastic commitment to the club over the years and their hard work is paying off as they start their final year towards black belt.
“All the students showed superior ability and it showed on the day how hard both students and coaches had worked to achieve such a high level of grades.”
Anyone interested in being part of the family friendly club, based behind John Hadfield House on Dale Road, can call Mark Ball about the grading class, which is on every Wednesday from 7pm-8pm or any of the other classes that run throughout the week, on 07825 876177.
