HIGHFIELDS School pupil Emma Erskine, right, will be running in the Mini London Marathon this Sunday, ahead of the main event.
Having got through the regional qualifying race last month, Emma will be representing the East Midlands in the 13-14 year old girls category.

As well as teams from the London boroughs there will be regional teams from all over the country, and national teams from Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

They will run the last three miles of the marathon course along the Embankment, past the Houses of Parliment and Buckingham Palace before finishing along the Mall.
