JESTERS Gym will officially open its new mixed martial arts training venue next month, with no fewer than eight world champions in attendance.
The gym, co-owned by ISKA World Super Middleweight Kickboxing Champion Dale Wood and Mark Ball, has moved from Tansley to John Hadfield House, on Dale Road, Matlock.

After three-and-a-half years years of building up from sports centre rooms Jesters is now able to open a fully equipped gym dedicated to martial arts, covering kickboxing , Thai boxing , Brazilian jiu jitsu and valetudo.

The new facility has been funded through the efforts of instructors, students and parents, and with the support of local businesses.

The official ceremony takes place on September 20, but classes begin there this week.

To find out more, telephone Jesters on 07974 655146
