THIS week the Cromford Summer League probably had the championship decider between the Burtons in first place and Jemto in second.
Andy Burton (Burtons) surprisingly lost to Emma Coles (Jemto) in five, but just beat Tony Gregory by the same margin.

Emma Coles would have expected to beat Dan Burton, but he succeeded where his dad failed.

With the Burtons easily taking the d
oubles they now hold a four point lead with just four rounds of matches left.

Buxton crept into third place with a 4 -1 win over Dalers.

Andy Middleton (Buxton) was unbeaten again, but it was nice to see Jackie Cullen (Dalers) get back to winning ways.

Bonsall had an easy 5-0 win over the H's with Mick Padley and Mark Chajecki both unbeaten.

In the bottom half of the draw, Wirksworth came up against a very strong Jokers side and lost 4 -1.

Andy Lindop showed some classy touches winning against Dave Kelly, but with Martin Dean (two) in the Jokers side victory was certain.

An understrength Staveley took on the Predators who had guest Ian Jones in the side.

It was a super display by him, winning two, and with Martin Hallows chipping in with one game, they won 3 -2.

Detonators took on the Fire Chiefs and found Will Doxey (Fire Chiefs) in brilliant form.

Two from him and also taking the doubles was enough to win 3 -2.

Burtons (29) lead then with Jemto (25) second Buxton (22) not far behind.
