NICK Rosling turned in a stunning innings of 144 as Stanton amassed almost 300 runs in Saturday's Sheaf Sports Yorkshire and Derbyshire League Division One fixture against bottom side Sheffield Collegiate.
Mick Wain scored 54 in a first wicket partnership worth 201 runs.

The 2006 champions declared after posting 292-4 inside 34 overs and then dismissed Collegiate for 153 to record a 139-run win.

Jimmy Mundy’s 4-39 gave struggling Calver a sniff of victory away at University Staff who closed on 114-8, but a capitulation with the bat allowed Tom Gray to claim figures of 5-6 and left Calver 13 short of victory, all out for 102, Tom Hilton top-scoring with 31.

Hathersage remain in the promotion spots in Division Two after they defeated close contenders Parkhead II.

Batting first, Parkhead were bowled out for 147 with the consistent pairing of Clinton Nobrega (4-49) and Nick Somerton (4-36) taking the credits.

Despite 4-31 from Andrew Keywood for Parkhead, 44 from Richard Percival allowed Hathersage to take the points.

The bottom two look cut adrift now after Youlgreave Lodge surrendered against Millhouses.
