The figures, for the seven days to August 9, are based on tests carried out in laboratories (Pillar 1 of the Government's testing programme) and in the wider community (Pillar 2).
There were seven cases recorded in the seven days to August 9 compared to six new cases recorded in the seven days to August 2.

Hide AdThis gives a rate per 100,000 people of 6.7 and 5.7 respectively.
The rate is is based on Public Health England data published on August 12 on the Government’s coronavirus online dashboard.
According to Derbyshire County Council's Surveillance report In the 14 days up to August 7 there were 87 cases in Derbyshire, 9 in pillar 1 and 78 in pillar 2.
Up to August 7 there have been 525 cases of COVID-19 identified by testing in Chesterfield, at a cumulative rate of 501.8 per 100,000 population.

Hide AdThis is both the second highest number of cases and the second highest rate amongst the districts and boroughs.
In Chesterfield most cases (52 per cent) have been identified by Pillar 2 testing.
The average age of cases was 56, with an average for Pillar 1 testing of 67.4 and for Pillar 2 of 45.8, reflecting the variation in severity of the disease by age.
The average age for females was 54.6 and 58.2 for males.
The highest cumulative rate was in Old Whittington (656.3), with the lowest in Walton (306.3).
