A fire crew attended a rural location to tackle a chimney fire.

Firefighters from Buxton were called to Meadow View, Tideswell, at 10.35pm last night (Tuesday, August 26).

They used a stirrup pump and rods to extinguish the blaze, which was out by 11.38pm.
