Hollis glanced in George Carline’s long throw six minutes before half-time and it turned out to be the winner.
The victory means manager James Rowe is unbeaten in his first three games in charge.
The Blues are currently 17th in the National League and face Barnet next at the Technique Stadium on Saturday.
Here are Liam Norcliffe’s player ratings from the game...
1. Kyle Letheren 6
A second clean sheet on the bounce for Letheren who for the third successive game did not have a great deal to do but he did make two good saves at 0-0 and 0-1. Photo: Rachel Atkins
2. George Carline 7
A solid performance from Carline just hours after signing for Town. He showed his versatility by starting at right-back and finishing at left-back. His long throw created the winner for Hollis and he almost scored with a header himself. Photo: Tina Jenner
3. Will Evans 6
Looks much more at ease on the right of a back three with Hollis in the middle and he is coming into some form now. Photo: Andrew Roe/AHPIX LTD
4. Haydn Hollis 8
A commanding performance for the third game running and a man of the match contender again. Scored the winner six minutes before half-time with a header from Carline's long throw. Photo: Rachel Atkins
